History

Francesc Parellada, Paco, was the owner of Fonda Europa in Granollers. An Inn with a long history which, with different names and much effort, had passed from parents to children since its foundation, by the end of the XVIIIth century by the great-great-great-grandmother Sila Camilo.

Francesc Parellada and his wife Antònia Garrell, the legendary grandma Toña, decided to buy at the beginning of the 1970’s a country house, Can Ribas de Montbui, to fulfill their dream: provide the Fonda with home-grown products. Their daughter, Teresa Parellada, and Toni Oliver shaped this project and organized the first events at the same time.

From the first minute, they wanted to surprise the people inspiring in them the feeling that they were invited by a family to their home. This spirit has never been lost, thanks to a friendly service and to the concept of the “tailor-made events”, which has been developed and improved year after year.
