To the people dressed in black

On a wedding day, all eyes are set on the white-dressed person. Let’s not try to deny it: she’s the topic of the day. And she has to, indeed.

But, for once, we’ll move from the white to the black-dressed ones.

Black-dressed people are the ones to welcome you home when you first step-and you first fall for- this stone. Are the ones to know you’ve found the place before you do so. The ones to say “yes, we’ll do that” when you’re still thinking “I don’t know…I’d love to and I’ve always wanted to, but won’t that be crazy?”. They are the hands, they are the heart.

They are these eyes saying “don’t worry, it will be fine”. They are in the other side of the telephone any day at any time. They worry for you to eat, to breath. They bring you peace. They make everything run so that you can enjoy every second, every kiss, every song…with everyone.

They live your special day as it was the most important in their lifes. And their job is to stay back in the rear so that no one notices them, so that all eyes are set on the white-dressed one.
