Un día lleno de mágia, amor y felicidad!

Are you as smitten with the bridal separate trend as us lately? We really can’t get enough of the never-ending playful mix and match capabilities, and midriff-baring looks. Today’s real bride gives us exactly that with her Rosa Clara two-piece gown, set in the countryside above Barcelona.

It’s no surprise that bride Mana was so on-trend, being a wedding planner herself, she had the whole day under control. Not only was her style so enviable (love those boho wedges!) but Mana was so deliberate with all the details of the day, taking over the overall planning, the boho styling and all the paper goods, which all meshed with her woodsy, rustic theme.

Also of note, were the couples stylish entrances, by Vespa, vintage car and dessert truck – how cute! In the end, our expert planner bride gives all of us wedding pros the confidence that yes, you can totally plan your own day and still enjoy it (thanks, Mana!)

Our Love Story

Navid proposed in Cancun, at a romantic dinner by the beach.I have to say it was a mix romantic and funny story altogether, and that’s what explains our life in one word, it’s always funny, fun and romantic.

The Venue

We wanted everything to be as raw and as natural as possible. In general, we admire rustic and boho design, in a natural and serene surrounding. The untouched and natural beauty of Can Ribas was all about that, we have asked for the décor to be as natural as possible.

We did not have many vendors involved since we are wedding planners ourselves. We could manage most of the wedding ourselves. All we needed was a great venue, amazing photographer, a great videographer, and fabulous outfits.

After days and months of research, interviewing and seeing different places, we finally managed to find the best venue for us above Barcelona and managed to create the dream wedding that we wanted for us.

I loved our different entrances. From entering the aperitif area, with James Bond music on a Vespa, a ride on a vintage Citroen to the dinner area, and entering in chef uniforms on the cake cart, it was all different, fun and entertaining.

The Photography

The photography was one of the toughest choices, as in the end, the photos are what you remain with for years and years. I have to admit, it was one of our best selections and we could not be any happier with this choice, especially the photography.

Everything was on-time, as per request, and we weren’t forced to do funny poses, or un-real moves and poses. All the great moments were captured at the right moment at the right time as natural as possible.

Now when you look at the shots, you feel the moment and the feelings of every cell in your body, which makes it hundred times more beautiful than what it actually is.

Advice to Other Couples

My only advice would be just to do whatever you feel is you and is right. Don’t stress much about things, and just have fun.

There is no event without any flaws, and sometimes the flaws make your event more interesting and memorable. So enjoy every second and moment, even if there happens to be a faulty moment.

The Honeymoon
